Reflecting Advances in Thought and Action: The Purpose and Philosophy of The Bahá’í World

The Bahá’í World volumes were initiated by the Guardian in the early years of the Formative Age and, for eight decades (1926-2006), documented the spread and development of the Faith worldwide. After a pause in publication, the Bahá’í World website was launched in 2019, and in the coming months a new volume (2006-2021) commissioned by the Universal House of Justice will be published. In this presentation, we trace the evolution of the Bahá’í World from 1926 to the present, explore the purpose and philosophy guiding this initiative today, and invite a new generation to connect with this valuable resource.
