Reflections on the challenge of our time

The Bahá’í world stands at a moment of transition, from the first to the second century of the Formative Age. At the same time, humanity faces a mounting crisis, as a result of increasing moral and social challenges that rend asunder the fundamental relationships that are essential for human flourishing. From this vantage, it is possible to reflect upon the progress made and the challenges that lie ahead. In particular, the House of Justice has called for “profound reflection of the life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and the strength of the Covenant of which He was the Centre”, as we approach the centenary of His passing. The presentation will explore these issues in light of the challenge to learn to apply Bahá’u’lláh’s teachings to transformation of the inner and outer life of humanity in the years ahead.
